The RBK basketball backboard and rim combo comes with a 48 in. shatter proof backboard that is virtually unbreakable and a solid steel Slam-It® rim with double-compression springs for spring-back action. The RBK basketball/rim combo is made of UV-protected, weather-resistant materials to withstand outdoor elements and prevent rusting, cracking, peeling, and yellowing. The shatter proof backboard is constructed of Makrolon® polycarbonate, which is many times stronger than acrylic. Use our Lifetime Universal Mounting Kit to mount backboard and rim to a wall, roof, or existing 3.5 inch pole. For adjustable height, use our Quick Adjust Conversion Kit to mount it to a wall or a 3.5 inch pole.
