What Makes Lifetime Metal Playground Equipment Better?
Construction
Lifetime metal playground equipment offers you the same features that you see in public park and playground playsets. We use commercial grade zinc-coated steel hardware and a commercial grade steel frame structure. Our ultra-violet resistant plastics retain less heat so that children can play comfortably on our metal playground equipment, even on hot summer days. No sizzling slides or hot handholds!
We meet or exceed home playground equipment standards set by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM). None of our products contain lead based materials. All potentially hazardous sharp edges are rounded or covered with plastic caps, and every swing comes with rubber grips on the chains in order to prevent little fingers from being pinched. Our metal playground equipment is designed with child-sized steps and hand holds for climbing and moving around the equipment.
Appearance
In contrast to wood playsets that often become splintered, warped, and faded, Lifetime metal playground equipment retains the integrity of its design without staining, painting, or sanding. Our metal playground equipment is constructed of powder-coated steel to prevent rusting, and UV-protected high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic to prevent color fading.
