InGround Systems

Inground basketball systems provide ultimate rigidity and take up less space than portable basketball systems. Plan on purchasing 540lbs. of concrete (six 90lb. bags) and one 1/2" x 3' piece of rebar, which is a steel rod used in the cementing process. Expect to wait 72 hours for the cement to dry before you can use the system. If you don't want to permanently cement your system in the ground, purchase a ground sleeve, which is a cylinder cemented into the ground for the pole to slide into. This feature makes it possible to remove your inground system if necessary. Some city ordinances require the use of a ground sleeve with all inground basketball system installations.
