While this composter holds less than our 80 gallon composter, the cooking process takes less time because it is designed with a much larger aeration tube. This is a great quality perfect size tumbler for a medium to large backyard in the city of Los Angeles. It is easy to put the material in and turn. It is sturdy and good looking. My only negative comment is the assembly. It is very difficult to assemble without someone who is handy and familiar with reading complicated instructions. It should have more drilled holes in the plastic and metal rather than having to drill yourself. Once assembled (two people, 3+hours) it is great.
