Lifetime Sahara Utility Tent Trailer Reviews
Excellent Design
In July we ordered the Sahara Tent Trailer. When it arrived, we immediately began putting it together. We found the instructions were easier than any we had ever seen. The parts and pieces went together exactly as specified, they fit together well, hole alignment was excellent. It took us (my wife & I) about 8 hours to complete the process. When we finished the final step by putting the tent up, we discovered that it was the best tent we have ever seen. The material is much heavier than we expected and it is very well made. We have had and still have other tents, but this one is supreme. A week later, we took the Sahara on it's inaugural camping trip. The trailer is well designed too, pulled easily and made carrying our camp gear and 2 kayaks very easy. It is the most comfortable tent we have ever had. I am 6' 2" and had no problem moving around in the tent. The sleeping bunks are well designed even for me at nearly 200 pounds. The tent attracted the attention of quite a few other campers so we had opportunities to brag on it more than once. We absolutely love our Sahara and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great camping experience. Thanks LifeTime

This Trailer Allows For Everything!
My family is big into rock crawling. We have been tent camping for 4 years now, but sleeping on the ground was getting old. We rented a popup camper, but it had minimal storage for tools, parts, gear etc. I have seen expedition trailers before, but they generally only sleep one or two people. I have two boys and a dog, plus me and the wife to house on our trips. This trailer allows for everything! It is the nicest self assembly kit of any kind I have ever purchased. Everything was tight, I put it together by myself in about 8 hours. The zippers on the doors are marginal at best. The tent material is not like your typical cheap tent. It is heavy. The zippers are like cheap tent zippers and I don't see them holding up to the strength of the material for a long period of time. I added a tongue box, which prevents folding down the front ramp, but it does not hinder setup. I installed a deep cycle battery, solar panels, and inverter. Next up are wheel adapters so I can fit some larger tires. A well built expedition trailer for less than four thousand dollars.

Well Built
My son and I put this together on a Saturday and it took approx. 10 hours to do it. I was impressed with the precision in which the trailer was manufactured because everything fit as described. The only mistake we found in the assembly manual was pertaining to the lights on the rear of the trailer. The instructions described wire placement into the lights opposite the instructions on the lights themselves. We plugged the wires in to the lights as described on the lights not the manual and everything worked. The trailer and tent seemed to be very well built and we are looking forward to camping. We did tow the trailer around to "get the feel for it" and it towed very well. A lot of thought went into the instructions as they were easy to follow and assembly was a pleasure (except for the lights).
